Nvidia reveals growth in revenue in second quarter
Nvidia announced Wednesday that it earned $46.7 billion in revenue for the second quarter of fiscal year 2026, which ended on July 27, 2025. This represents a 6% increase from the previous quarter and a 56% jump compared with the same period last year.
The company’s net income surged to $26.4 billion, up 59% year over year, while its Blackwell Data Center segment recorded a 17% sequential growth in revenue.
On a per-share basis, GAAP earnings per diluted share reached $1.08, a 42% increase from the prior quarter and 61% higher than a year earlier. Non-GAAP earnings per diluted share were $1.05, up 30% sequentially and 54% year over year.
Nvidia reported GAAP and non-GAAP gross margins of 72.4% and 72.7%, respectively, for the quarter.
