Israel Conducts Airstrikes on Iran State Broadcaster in Tehran

(MENAFN) The Israeli military announced early Tuesday that it had launched airstrikes against the headquarters complex of Iran’s state television and radio network in Tehran, marking another phase in its ongoing aerial campaign over the capital.

According to a military statement, Israeli fighter aircraft carried out the operation based on intelligence assessments, releasing dozens of munitions aimed at what it described as a communications facility located within the broadcaster’s compound.

The army said it intends to press ahead with attacks on infrastructure tied to “the Iranian regime” throughout Tehran.

Local Iranian outlets reported hearing two blasts in the vicinity of the broadcasting center, with plumes of smoke visible above the site afterward.

Meanwhile, the head of the state-run broadcaster stated that no deaths or injuries had been recorded and confirmed that transmission services continued without interruption.
